Outer Banks Blue Bullies puppy agreement /contract of sale

This contract consisting of two (3) pages is for the sale of one UKC registered American Pit Bull Terrier Dog from
Outer Banks Blue Bullies to Buyer of  this Contract.  * THE FINAL TYPED CONTRACT OF SALE WILL BE SUPPLIED TO YOU UPON COMPLETION OF PURCHASE.   IT WILL BE SENT WITH THE PUPPY
REGISTRATION. ALL PURCHASERS ARE REQUIRED TO FILL OUT, SIGN AND REVIEW THE CONTRACT WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE PURCHASE OF THE PUPPY.  I WILL NOT SHIP UNTIL THIS REQUIREMENT IS FULLFILED. SEE FAX AND E-MAIL INFO ON PAGE 3 OF THIS CONTRACT.

Contract reads as follows:

1.       Purchase Agreement:  All Sales are final. There will be no refunds or returns once the payment process has been completed.
* NOTE- Paypal and credit card buyers add 3% per 100.00 for payment processing fees.
* NOTE-  No shipping arangement will be made untill the payment process is complete paypal
requires 3-4 business days to transfer the funds to my account.

2.       Deposit agreement:

a. Cost, indicated above, is due paid in full before the dog reaches 6 weeks of   age. Additionally the dog will remain in my possession till payment is made in full.

       b. If litter does not produce enough quality or suitable pups to fulfill expectations, the deposit could be transferred to our next breeding at the buyers request or be returned to buyer.  Buyer will be responsible for any difference in total price of puppy from next litter.    

        c. A late fee of $100 will be applied if paid by the said agreed time.

        d. If said dog is not paid for in full by stated the potential ownership of dog, deposit, late fee, and any    money paid toward the total sale price of dog will be forfeited to Outer Banks Blue Bullies unless another agreement was made.  This deposit is non refundable unless other arrangements were made between the buyer and Outer Banks Blue Bullies.

        e. The new buyer will be held responsible for any cost past today as long as the agreement is in place.

 3.       Ownership

1. When introduced into new surroundings, dogs are sometimes inclined to exhibit shyness and inactivity.  In some instances they may refuse to eat.  After becoming adapted to their new homes they will readily accept you as their new master and overcome the shyness of the new quarters.  You as the new owner have a great responsibility to maintain your dog’s emotional and physical well-being.  
2. If at anytime during ownership the local law enforcement/animal control feels that the dog is not being properly cared for, or is confiscated due to illegal activity or attacks on human, death due to either improper care or any defect identified to you in the health section we here at obbluebullies will not be held responsible.
3. You will receive a medical record.
4. The application for UKC registration papers will be mailed to you in a few weeks. Please follow the directions and take time in filling this paperwork out errors could result in delay in your registration process.
   
   4.       Health
5. All dogs leave OB Blue Bullies in good health.
6. Buyer is to take pup/dog for a health check up to a licensed Veterinarian within 14 days and is here by responsible for all remain required shots.
7.  All findings of health defects will be reviled to you time of pick up or delivery.
8. OB Blue Bullies are not be responsible for any veterinarian bills or other bills the owner may incur after the purchase of the dog or after 8 weeks for deposit customers until termination of agreement.
9. Vaccines must remain current.
10. Clean water must be available at all times, adequate quality food must be given, and animal must be kept in a clean and secure enclosed yard or large kennel with appropriate amount of shade and shelter.
11. Dogs must never be abused, neglected, or mistreated.

5.       Breeding

1. The dog must not be INBREED IE litter mates. They can how ever be breed to the mother or father NOT RECOMMENDED, it is approved via UKC/ADBA but could cause defects in the puppies if done consistently.

·         if said dog is determined not breeding material due to major or genetic fault(s) such as undershot bite it must be spayed/neutered. 

2. Dog being purchased must never be breed to any other dog unless it is a pure breed, and registered (papered) UKC American Pit Bull Terrier.
3. Females should never be bred before their second heat and/or before 1 year of age which ever occurs first.  Also, they are not to be bred back-to-back heats.
4. All females may only have a maximum of four litters and not be bred over the age of seven years.  
5. In the event a buyer decides to breed said dog, the buyer will take all necessary precautions to ensure a healthy quality litter.  They also agree to follow the United Kennel Club’s Breeder Code of Ethics.  

6.       All dogs from OB BLUE BULLIES must never be used for any illegal purposes.

1. This includes fighting, rolling, or facing off dog with any other animal or dog.

IF THIS CONTRACT IS BROKEN, THE FULL OWNERSHIP (PAPERS) AND POSSESSION OF THE DOG WILL REMAIN IN OUR POSSESSION.  THE UNDERSIGNED BUYER, OB BLUE BULLIES ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THIS IS A LEGAL AND BINDING CONTRACT AND HAVE RECEIVED A SIGNED COPY.
